Welcome to the August edition of The Darling Newsletter.
We're now in our last month of Winter here downunder, and I for one am very much looking forward to the warmer months returning. There have been many new site launches throughout Winter, I've shared some extra recent examples below.
My shopping habits lately have mainly consisted of books, which I've focused on in this newsletter, and art prints from photographer Irene Suchocki and illustrator Rosie Music. I have my eye on a few more prints from a local Gold Coast artist Galahouse too.
Also included in this month's newsletter are some of my favourite quotes I've come across recently. Enjoy!

Recently I've purchased some design and pattern related books, I absolutely love these types of books and they are a great source of inspiration. I thought I'd share my favourite purchases, and a few that are waiting on my wishlist.
Print & Pattern - A long favourite blog of mine, I had to own the book!
Pattern + Palette - Great resources for patterns and colour schemes
Box Bottle Bag - This book was a generous gift from a client, the content is also sourced from another fav blog of mine The Dlieline
Los Logos - I could never get tired of looking at logo designs
